Job Description:
Part-time Cleaning/Janitorial Assistant needed for the Grand Island Head Start. This is a part-time position, 20 hrs/wk, $15.00/hour.
- The Janitorial Assistant is responsible for the cleaning of the physical facility utilized by Head Start and other programs of the organization.
- Make sure that all common area floors are kept in a clean and safe condition, with major cleanings as needed throughout the year based upon type of floor and usage. Classrooms, kitchens and eating areas are routinely maintained by other staff.
- Cleaning of restrooms.
- Empty waste baskets and kitchen garbage daily or as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Paid Time Off, 401K, and training opportunities are available. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
