Summary
The Digital Producer position works collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications
team to serve a large range of internal and external constituents (professional staff, teachers,
parents, trustees and alumni, among others). The Digital Producer manages and supports
storytelling efforts by generating creative video, photography, and social media content that
authentically speaks to the school’s mission and values. This person is also the key producer
of HeadWay, the school’s podcast. The Digital Producer reports to the Director of Marketing
and Communications.

Responsibilities
- Manage HRS social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Track digital engagement and share results
- Create original content and strategies that increase engagement with our social media
- Generate, edit, and distribute creative photography, videos, and social media content
- Produce and edit monthly episodes during the school year of HeadWay, the school
- Participate in planning meetings with internal constituents to provide thought

- Partner with divisions and various departments across campus, including Admissions,

- Collaborate with our MarComm team and other constituents as needed
- A minimum of four in a marketing or communications role, with specific experience
independent school and/or non-profit setting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required—specialty in journalism, digital media, or communications
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact
- An eye for design and a high level of attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to work independently while enjoying a collaborative work environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of prioritizing
