Grill Cook

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Grill Cook to join our vibrant resort team. This role involves preparing classic bar & grill items, primarily focusing on burger assembly and fry station management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently or with kitchen support, and bring a positive, upbeat attitude to enhance our guests' vacation experience. No menu planning or high-end culinary skills are required—just a passion for good food and excellent service in a fun, resort setting.

Duties

• Prepare burgers according to established menu standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Operate multiple fryers efficiently to prepare side items and accompaniments.
• Set up trays with appealing presentation to ensure quick service during busy times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Work independently or collaboratively with kitchen support to meet service demands.
• Keep pace with the fast-moving environment while providing friendly and efficient service.
• Support the overall flow of the kitchen, assisting with other tasks as needed in a lively resort atmosphere.
• Contribute to a fun, upbeat environment that enhances guests’ vacation experience.

Experience

• Prior experience in a fast-paced food service or grill environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and cleanliness habits.
• Ability to work independently without micromanagement.
• A positive attitude, enthusiasm for working in a resort setting, and a team-oriented mindset are highly valued.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
