Responsibilities:
- Accompany providers during patient visits to assist in documenting the provider assessment and exam
- Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care. Attention to detail is a must.
- Gain substantial knowledge in how to appropriately document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures, treatment plans, diagnoses, medication/prescription information, and follow-up instructions
- Navigate the offices computer system and electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, personable demeanor
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task
