Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as a mini skid.
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs.
- Use mechanical knowledge to calibrate timers, valves, sprinklers, and pumps for efficient water use.
- Support landscaping projects by operating construction equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Perform seasonal system adjustments and winterization procedures to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and system modifications for ongoing management.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot irrigation systems and related equipment.
- Experience working with irrigation systems.
