General Duties
- Design and develop electrical systems and components for air curtain products
- Conduct research to determine design requirements and feasibility
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics for electrical systems and components
- Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate electrical systems into overall product design
- Select and source electrical components based on product requirements, cost effectiveness, reliability, and efficiency
- Test and evaluate electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems related to electrical systems and components
- Conduct electrical simulations, calculations, and modeling to recommend design modifications to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems during the manufacturing and production process
- Stay up-to-date with new technology and trends in the field of electrical engineering
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, sales, and other internal teams
- Work in ERP system to build and maintain bill of materials (BOMs)
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field as a minimum
- 3-5 years proven experience of a similar role required
- PCB experience is a plus
- Experience building and maintaining BOMs is a plus
- Must have strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and products
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant software programs
- Experience in electrical simulations, testing, and prototyping
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines is a plus
