Our engagements include (i) ESOP-related fairness opinions, annual valuations, and sustainability studies, (ii) tax-related valuations for 409A, estate planning, and gift planning, (iii) financial reporting for ASC 718 and 805 related topics including purchase price allocations, complex security valuations, Monte Carlo simulations, debt valuations, and intangible asset valuations.

We are seeking a Business Valuation Manager with 4 years of experience in the valuation industry to join our growing team. This is a leadership role with significant client-facing, project management, and technical responsibilities. The location is at the office of your choice: Atlanta, Charleston, Des Moines, or Denver, however, we do not provide relocation assistance.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is capable of:
- Leading and managing business valuation engagements with an excellent quality level
- Ability to train and delegate workflow to teammates while overseeing and taking responsibility for their quality
- Run management interviews and client presentations with support from a Director or Managing Director
- Demonstrate expertise in valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and report writing at a high degree of quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Contribute to firm leadership and strategic initiatives
- Stay current on valuation standards, industry trends, and ESOP regulatory developments
- Commitment to high professional and ethical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, ASA, or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business valuation, with significant experience in ESOP-related valuations preferred.
