In Home Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the Newberg area and surrounding areas to help clients make progress toward their goals.
Job Duties and Clients' Support Needs
- Work 1-on-1 with clients on a consistent schedule at their home and in their community
- Full and Partial assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor clients for safety
- Plan and organize daily tasks
- Provide support (including positive behavior supports) in accordance with a written service plan to help clients reach their goals
- Document services and report to supervisor weekly

Client A
- Someone who is easy going and has a mellow demeanor
- The client requires a DSP who can drive in order to meet their support needs.
- Attentiveness is important to be able to manager behaviors effectively
- No smoking in the client home or property or around the client
- Personal Care supports
Client B
- Attentiveness is important to be able to manager behaviors effectively. Support with emotional regulation and behaviors
- Seeking someone who can provide guidance and encouragement when trying new things
- The client requires a DSP who can drive in order to meet their support needs.
- Enjoys physical activites: gym, swimming, basketball
- No smoking in the client home or property or around the client
- Personal Care supports
Compensation & Benefits
- Start at $23/hr

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must have 6 months verifiable experience working or volunteering in a direct care setting (Personal or Professional)
