Field Inspector

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Inspector to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will conduct thorough inspections of properties and construction site projects to ensure compliance with safety standards, and insurance requirements. Your expertise will help identify risks, and promote safe practices across various environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in risk assessment and inspection procedures while contributing to the safety and integrity of our clients’ assets. You will be instrumental in safeguarding properties, supporting insurance claims processes, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections of horizontal and direction drilling projects, hydrovac, etc.
• Ensure crew production and safety standards
• Identify risks and hazards that may arise on the job site
• Assist crews on construction sites
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, photographic evidence, measurements, and survey data for future reference and reporting purposes
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for risk mitigation and trend identification across multiple projects

Requirements

• Experience with construction inspection
• Strong understanding of damage prevention
• Ability to perform in inclement weather conditions
• A clean driving record
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and implementation practices for safe site inspections a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and documentation for stakeholders
