RESEARCH ATTORNEY
HD Law Partners, P.A. is seeking a Research/Appellate Attorney to join our Tampa-based civil trial firm. This position involves conducting comprehensive legal research on a variety of legal issues and cases; analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategy and legal arguments; and drafting legal memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents. Responsibilities also include summarizing research findings and presenting them to attorneys and clients as needed.
The successful candidate will assist with trial, hearing, and deposition preparation; monitor developments in case law and legal precedent; collaborate with attorneys on case strategy; maintain and organize legal research resources and databases; ensure accurate citation of legal authorities; and provide support with case management and related administrative tasks.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent analytical, research, writing, and communication skills. Familiarity with Aderant Total Office, Microsoft Office/Outlook, timekeeping systems, and participation in Moot Court or Law Review are preferred.
