Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their preferences and needs
- Provide detailed product demonstrations and educate customers on different strains, consumption methods, and effects
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, accessories, or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandising display to attract customers and promote featured products
- Stock shelves regularly, ensure accurate inventory counts, and manage product rotation for freshness and compliance
- Deliver excellent customer service by answering questions professionally via phone or in person while adhering to proper phone etiquette
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty retail environments
- Demonstrate team management skills
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal expression and active listening
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales techniques to maximize product visibility and sales potential
