HCT seeks an experienced Nurse professional to serve as the Interim Nurse Manager of PACU at a 115 bed hospital in Northern California.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Creating and overseeing schedules for nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Experience: Working as a PACU nurse and minimum of 3 years of leadership over PACU; Experienced leading a union environment is required; Must be proficient in ASPAN guidelines as well as up to date as Evidenced Based Practices in Pre-Op.
- License: State of CA RN license in good standing
- Certifications: BLS required, CPAN certification required; ASPAN member required
- Computer Skills: EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint, etc.) experience
