What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Coder position at HCS Upgrade Client Test?
Under the supervision of Physician Services Revenue Cycle Supervisor, assigns ICD, CPT and evaluation and management (E/M) codes to outpatient records. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. Provides education for charge entry staff, and medical staff regarding documentation and coding. High School degree or equivalent; Associated Degree preferred. Three years minimum of Medical Billing and coding experience for physician services.
