Responsibilities
- Operate leeboy 1000, 7000 annd 8520 and related heavy equipment such as trackloaders and rollers safely and skillfully on construction sites.
- Assist with site preparation, including the use of loaders, excavators, and dump trucks for material handling.
- Coordinate with the crew to ensure proper paving thickness, smoothness, and compaction standards are met.
- Support concrete pouring, finishing, and forming tasks as needed, utilizing concrete mixers and pumps.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on paving equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean work environment throughout the project duration.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing, pumping, finishing, and forming processes is highly desirable.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent preferred for operating commercial vehicles.
- Familiarity with rebar installation and concrete finishing techniques is a plus.
