Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English and Spanish) Project Manager specialized in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems to be in charge of job sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of HVAC construction projects while managing scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
- Coordinate project schedules with simple project management software to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Oversee construction plans, blueprints, and specifications; ensure all work aligns with design intent and regulatory standards.
- Manage teams on-site and off-site, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.
- Ensure construction site safety compliance by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards are met; address issues promptly to prevent delays.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other critical documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing HVAC or heavy infrastructure construction projects with a strong background in commercial construction environments.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately; understanding of contracts and regulatory compliance is essential.
- Strong knowledge of construction management, and project coordination processes.
- Experience managing teams in a construction management role; excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and regulatory standards compliance.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
