Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and maintenance.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment, plumbing, welding, and appliance repair to ensure optimal operation.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and perform equipment repair with mechanical knowledge.
- Follow safety protocols during field service operations, including proper handling of ammonia refrigeration systems and other hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and system performance for ongoing property management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a strong understanding of schematics and HVAC design principles.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boiler systems, and appliance repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, property maintenance procedures, welding techniques, and equipment repair.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
drivers or similar vehicles is advantageous. - Strong field service background with excellent problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Additional skills such as mechanic experience, property maintenance expertise, or specialized knowledge in HVAC design are considered a plus.
