Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Finance & Accounting to manage and improve the finance function for HCPC, while supporting Fonseca Biosciences. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, good business judgment, and a desire to grow through real responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Finance & Accounting: Manage day-to-day AP, AR, payroll, journal entries, and month-end close using QuickBooks.
- Process Clean-Up: Identify gaps, correct inefficiencies, and move the company from person-dependent processes to documented systems.
- Partner Coordination: Serve as the central internal contact for outside audit, tax, and specialized pharma finance advisors (Danforth, Integrichain, CBIZ).
- Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking to help leadership understand what the numbers are saying.
Qualifications
- Experience: Approximately 5–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Background: Experience as an Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller in a smaller company.
- Core Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals, QuickBooks proficiency, and advanced Excel capabilities.
