BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES CLINICAL DIRECTOR - LPC/LMFT/LCSW
Provides clinical oversight and supervision to staff that provide individuals, families, and groups with the support needed to cope with mental health, behavioral health and/or substance abuse illnesses.
General Responsibilities:
- Oversees the intensive outpatient and substance abuse program and ensures compliance, growth, outstanding outcomes & success.
- Establish a. recruiting pipeline for substance abuse clients
- Be familiar with billing codes needed and credentialing process.
- Be able to develop the program from the ground up.
- Must be knowledgeable of current addiction trends, science and innovation. Utilizing stigma-free language, solution focused, motivational interviewing perspectives.
- Provides oversight to a team of licensed clinicians, PLPC's and CIT's that facilitate mental health services.
- Provides leadership and support to administrative clinical staff responsible for all discharge planning
- Supervises staff that monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Oversees the modification of client treatment plans to comply with any changes in status.
- Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences and administrative meetings.
- Attends necessary trainings to increase knowledge and skills.
- Provides on-call crisis support
- Function as the client advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client.
- Prepare and write notes or other documents related to recovery.
- Oversight of day-to-day clinical operations including clinical service delivery systems.
- Staff management and development.
- Act as a communication liaison to coordinate services and systems across departments, resolve issues, and make recommendations, maintaining communication both up and down the hierarchy.
- Oversight of documentation and UR management resulting in appropriate length of stay.
- Oversees case conceptualization.
- Treatment planning, interventions and discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Education and Other Employment Requirements:
- Must currently hold a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT and a LAC in the state of Louisiana.
- 2 years of clinical director outpatient addiction treatment experience, preferred.
- 3 years of clinical and staff management experience.
- 2 years of experience as a clinical supervisor.
- Must be familiar with current applicable research and ASAM dimensions.
- Pre-Employment drug screen.
