Senior Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced UKG Functional Lead to drive Payroll Accounting and General Ledger (GL) processes within the UKG environment. This role will act as the primary functional SME, partnering with Payroll, Finance, Accounting, HR, and IT teams to design, implement, test, and support payroll-to-GL processes and integrations.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in UKG Payroll, payroll accounting, labor costing, GL mapping, reconciliation, and financial system integrations, along with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and implementation teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Payroll, Payroll Accounting, HRIS, HCM, or Workforce Management solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with UKG Pro Payroll or related UKG payroll platforms.
• Expertise in payroll costing, labor distribution, GL account mapping, journal entries, payroll liabilities, accruals, and reconciliation.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between UKG and enterprise financial systems.
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional and offshore delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading UKG Payroll or payroll accounting transformation programs.
• Experience integrating UKG with SAP, Oracle Financials, Workday Financials, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of payroll controls, audit compliance, and financial governance processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise payroll implementations and payroll-to-finance transformation initiatives.

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
