Job Summary:

Skills — Must-Have

• Structured QA test methodologies (test planning, systematic execution)
• Command-line proficiency (Buck2, cmake, firmware flashing, device logs, scripting)
• Hands-on mobile testing on physical iOS & Android devices
• Test design: boundary analysis, state-transition coverage, negative testing, exploratory testing
• BLE/Bluetooth workflows: pairing, connection stability, failure modes
• Disciplined defect reporting (complete, reproducible, with logs & evidences
• Managing concurrent test passes across multiple features, firmware versions, and app releases
• Audio-Specific Testing Capabilities
• Bluetooth audio protocol testing (A2DP, HFP, AVRCP)
• Audio routing state machine verification — mute, volume, source arbitration
• End-to-end audio feature validation: Conversation Focus, Spatial Media, Discreet Audio, Group Conversation, and Audio Concurrency Sync
• Text-to-Speech (TTS) validation, earcons fidelity, and notification audio UX
• Earcons triggering, sequencing, and priority arbitration

Skills — Nice-to-Have

• Wearables, hearables, or IoT device testing experience
• Mobile test automation (Appium, XCTest, Espresso, Jest E2E, Fabric Pairing)
• Scripting (Python, shell) for log parsing, test setup, CI automation
• Test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr) and defect tracking (JIRA, Meta Tasks)
• Audio or sensor quality evaluation
• Agile/Scrum experience with sprint-based releases

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range Minimum: $69000/annum
• Pay Range Maximum: $128000/annum

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
