Job description:

Technical Lead to drive solution delivery, technical excellence, and innovation for Volvo Cars US. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership capabilities to guide teams, engage stakeholders, and deliver high-impact business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution design, development, and implementation for strategic Gen AI initiatives .
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
• Drive code reviews, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Volvo Cars US business and IT stakeholders.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments.
• Support Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to innovation, automation, and modernization programs.

Required Expertise

Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Data Analytics & AI
• Java & Full-Stack Engineering & AI
• Cloud Engineering (AWS/Azure/GCP) & AI
• Salesforce Technologies & AI

Qualifications

• 8 years of IT experience with 3 years in a Technical Lead role.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading distributed teams in Agile environments.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred

• Automotive industry experience.
• Cloud, Salesforce, AI, or Agile certifications.
• Experience in digital transformation and modernization programs.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $135000per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 198000per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
