Platform Lead (TIBCO Streambase , EBX , TDV , AWS)

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

The Senior TIBCO Streaming Platform Support Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of streaming solutions within the client’s life sciences and healthcare ecosystem. This position provides expert-level support for TIBCO Streaming software, directly impacting critical business processes, data-driven decision-making, and real-time application delivery across the organization. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues, optimize platform usage, and implement best practices that align with organizational goals.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for TIBCO Streaming Platform, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Monitor, analyze, and proactively resolve incidents related to streaming data applications in production and development environments.

- Lead root cause analysis for major incidents, implement corrective actions, and document solutions for knowledge sharing.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to design, implement, and upgrade TIBCO streaming solutions.

- Manage platform maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.

- Create and maintain documentation for support procedures, configurations, and platform architecture.

- Mentor junior support engineers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security standards within life sciences and healthcare environments.

- Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities related to TIBCO streaming.

- Liaise with TIBCO and other vendors for escalated support cases and product enhancements.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience with TIBCO Streaming Platform support and administration.

- Deep knowledge of TIBCO Streaming/Live Datastreams architecture and components.

- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex application and platform issues.

- Experience with integration of TIBCO Streaming with other middleware, databases, and enterprise systems.

- Strong understanding of ITIL practices and incident management in regulated environments.

- Familiarity with life sciences and healthcare industry compliance (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, GxP).

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Certifications in TIBCO technologies or related streaming platforms (preferred).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying streaming solutions in hybrid environments.

- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation and monitoring.

- Exposure to Kafka, Apache Flink, or other real-time data streaming technologies.

- Prior experience in mentoring teams or leading technical projects.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $95,000 per year 

Pay Range Maximum: $151,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
