What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer position at HCLTech?
We are looking for seasoned leader who has a strong knowledge in managing a large and complex Network, DC, Azure Cloud environment
- Experience in managing team of networking engineers, system engineers in a Azure Stack lab/DC environment
- Provide leadership for networking infrastructure, including switch deployments, connectivity validation, and break/fix operations
- Oversee network stack deployments (Dell/Cisco switching) ensuring high availability and performance
- Drive design, implementation, and maintenance of Azure Stack lab environments to ensure scalability and reliability
- Develop and implement proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to reduce downtime
- Own KPI tracking and reporting through Power BI, ensuring SLA targets are met or exceeded
- Deliver executive-level reporting including MBRs and QBRs
- Oversee asset management and inventory tracking across lab environments
- Manage Windows update validation and deployment across Azure Stack infrastructure
- Establish and enforce team standards, processes, and operational procedures
- Coordinate daily lab operations, maintenance, and issue resolution
- Ensure successful deployment and integration of applications and services within Azure Stack
- Mentor engineers across infrastructure and networking domains to promote skill growth and operational excellence

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
Salary : $101,000 - $146,000
