VV Practice Head – Software Defined Vehicle (SDV)

Are you ready to shape the future of automotive validation?

We’re looking for a visionary leader to head our Verification & Validation (VV) Center of Excellence in the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) space. This is a high-impact role driving innovation, delivery excellence, and customer success across major OEM and Tier 1 programs in the US.

What You’ll Do

Lead Strategy & Innovation

• Own the VV roadmap across virtual validation, ECU testing, HiL/SiL/MiL, and ADAS/Autonomous verification.
• Align with trends in cybersecurity, AI-driven test automation, and SDV transformation.
• Collaborate with global SMEs and customer teams to build scalable, reusable VV solutions.

Drive Customer Success

• Engage with top US automotive OEMs and Tier 1s to define technical strategies and deliver winning programs.
• Ensure high-quality execution across virtual platforms, test benches, and cloud-based test infrastructures.

Build IP & Accelerators

• Lead development of platforms like Testsphere for test orchestration, defect triage, and digital feedback loops.
• Integrate AI/ML, data analytics, and cloud into the VV lifecycle.

Grow & Mentor Talent

• Build a high-performing VV engineering team in the US.
• Define competency frameworks and training paths across HiL, SiL, MiL, and ADAS toolchains.

What You Bring

• 15 years in Automotive Software Testing, including 5 years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of SDV, ISO 26262, ASPICE, UN R155/156, and OTA validation.
• Hands-on with dSPACE, NI, Vector, and simulation environments.
• Strong customer-facing and pre-sales experience with US OEMs/Tier 1s.
• Familiarity with cloud-based test ecosystems, virtualization, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.

Bonus Points

• Experience with CANoe, CarMaker, ETAS, or VTD.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or OCI.
• Led distributed global teams or offshore-onshore delivery models.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 145000per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 170000per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
