About the Role

We’re seeking a seasoned Engineering Presales Consultant to support our North American sales hunters in driving strategic growth across industrial sectors. This is a client-facing, domain-specialist role ideal for professionals from service organizations with strong business acumen and technical depth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory & Consulting
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, aligning technical solutions with business goals.
  • Tailor strategies to address industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Presales & Solutioning
  • Collaborate with client partners and delivery managers to craft compelling value propositions.
  • Lead the business response for RFPs, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Provide expert guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Solve complex challenges with customer-centric outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Stay ahead of industry trends via benchmarking, research, and analyst reports.
  • Maintain a “blue book” of niche players and consultancies for potential partnerships.
  • Strategic Contributions
  • Support account strategies and contribute to technology communities.
  • Identify new growth areas and help develop frameworks and offerings.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 20 years of experience in IPA and HVAC domains.
  • Strong communication and business savvy.
  • Proven success in service organizations with direct revenue accountability.
  • Comfortable working remotely and engaging with clients across North America.
  • Experience supporting sales teams and contributing to multimillion-dollar revenue targets.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 111,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $ 169,000 perYear

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year
