Data Warehouse Architect

Introduction:

This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses to support the organization's data needs. The Data Warehouse Architect will work closely with the data engineering team to ensure that the data warehouse meets the organization's requirements for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data warehouses using Teradata
• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data models
• Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability
• Develop and implement data warehouse security measures
• Troubleshoot data warehouse issues and provide solutions
• Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to ensure data warehouse meets business needs
• Stay current on data warehouse best practices and technologies

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Must be able to work independently when needed.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, particularly in troubleshooting complex data and system issues
• Experience with Teradata
• Experience designing and building data warehouses
• Experience with other data warehouse technologies
• Knowledge of data governance best practices
• Experience with data visualization tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
