IAP Support Specialist
Location : Nashville, TN (Hybrid – In Office on Mondays)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (CST)
Rate : $21/hr on w2
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IAP Support Specialist to support the primary point of contact for case managers, healthcare providers, and program partners, ensuring timely enrollment, eligibility support, issue resolution, and uninterrupted access to HIV medications for eligible clients.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in healthcare administration, customer service, case management support, and healthcare operations, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide enrollment, eligibility, renewal, and participation support for the Insurance Assistance Program (IAP).
- Serve as the primary liaison for Ryan White case managers, healthcare providers, and program partners.
- Troubleshoot enrollment issues and resolve barriers impacting client access to insurance coverage and HIV medications.
- Research, document, and resolve client-specific concerns while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and state partners to resolve complex operational issues.
- Manage high-volume phone calls and email communications while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records in electronic systems.
- Support quality assurance initiatives, workflow improvements, and operational excellence.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of customer service experience in healthcare, public health, health insurance, or healthcare administration.
- Experience supporting healthcare operations or health administration programs.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
