Job Details
Installation and Configuration:
o Install and configure CAD applications such as 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, Delmia, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
o Ensure proper setup and integration with existing systems and workflows.
o Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.o Maintain application settings and preferences to optimize performance.
o Provide technical support for any issues related to CAD applications.
o Diagnose and resolve software and hardware problems.
o Collaborate with vendors and other IT teams to address complex issues.
o Plan and execute migration of CAD applications to new versions or platforms.
o Ensure data integrity and minimal disruption during migration processes.
o Monitor system performance and usage to identify potential issues.
o Perform regular maintenance tasks such as updates, patches, and backups.
o Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans.
o Assist users with application-related queries and provide training on best practices.
o Develop and maintain documentation for application usage and troubleshooting.
o Work closely with design and engineering teams to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
o Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance application capabilities and integration.
Technical Expertise:
o Proficiency in 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5, Delmia, and Team center.
o Strong understanding of CAD application architecture and functionality.
o Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex issues.
o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
o Previous experience in a similar support role is highly desirable.
o Familiarity with standard practices and service management.
