HCI Systems Inc. is a rapidly growing low-voltage contracting company based in California. We are seeking a dedicated Labor Compliance Administrator to join our team in Ontario. In this role, you will support our Accounting department by handling labor compliance functions, certified payroll processing, and various finance and accounting-related administrative tasks. You'll report directly to both the Labor Compliance Director and the Controller.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Controller and Labor Compliance Director with payroll and certified payroll tasks.
- Review and ensure labor compliance with Davis-Bacon Act or Public Works requirements in payroll processing.
- Verify employee hours and analyze company-wide overtime hours.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in completing Certified Payroll Report and various labor compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, and respond promptly to routine inquiries.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in labor compliance/prevailing wage, specifically with Davis-Bacon Act and Public Works regulations.
- Experience with certified payroll is required.
- Previous labor compliance experience in construction or trade-related industries (e.g., electrical, HVAC, fire protection, alarm systems).
- Experience with certified payroll is preferred.
- Prior experience with LCP Tracker and DIR.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
