Requirements
What you'll do:
- Greet and provide excellent customer service to all HCI members and guests
- Maintain extensive knowledge of all sports programs and facility operations; be able to provide this information to members, guests, and visitors
- Assist Manager with the training and onboarding of new employees
- Supervise a team and ensuring cash totals are correct at the end of each shift
- Monitor security and visitor access
- Efficiently field phone calls and inquiries about programming
- Help with general facility maintenance and upkeep of amenities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support
- Receive and sort mail and deliveries

- Flexible availability to work various shifts - evening and weekend availability preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience in a reception or related customer service position; six months of supervisor/management experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately
- Professional personal presentation
- Strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
- Team oriented mindset
- Ability to quickly acquire and apply new knowledge and skills and the ability to maintain a friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays, as needed
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Effective computer skills
- $18 - 20 per hour, based on experience
