Job Summary:
The Material Coordinator will coordinate logistical operations at the Denver Logistics Services facility in Golden, CO. This role executes the flow of materials, ensures accurate inventory management, and supports the efficient distribution of supplies in alignment with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials within the Denver Logistics Services facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and computerized systems to track materials in process.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and mobile scanners to support warehouse logistics.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies to meet production and shipping schedules.
- Monitor and control the movement of materials between departments, ensuring alignment with contractual priorities.
- Compile reports on stock levels, material discrepancies, and production records.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to address logistical challenges and optimize workflows.
- Adhere to safety regulations and quality control measures to ensure compliance with VA standards.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications in logistics or material handling preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in material coordination or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
- Ability to operate various material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a government logistics environment.

Work Environment:
