What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exam Proctor/Tutor position at HCI College?
Description
Proctor/Tutor is responsible for the delivery of quality education services. This entails engaging students that prepare for Tutoring Tease and Accuplacer testing, fostering learning, role modeling professionalism, and ultimately producing competently trained students prepared for passing the Tease test for admittance to HCI College. This includes working with the Director of Admissions over the assigned cohort of prospective Students, as well as Future Cohorts of Prospective Students.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Refresher Tutoring Sessions
Facilitating student engagement
Working one-on-one with students
Assessing students and providing developmental feedback on preparation of Tease/Accuplacer Exams
Deliver best practices for Testing
Monitor student progress and follow-up as needed
Take and report daily attendance and enforce tardy and absence policies to Admission Reps/Directors of Admissions
Report attendance issues on Scheduled prospects for Tutoring/Testing
Be available for one-on-one assistance/tutoring.
Identify at-risk students in a timely fashion.
meet with students.
implement an action plan for success.
provide weekly assessments, follow up, and evaluation of the plan.
provide weekly reports to Director of admissions.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED is Required
Prior Experience As a Tutor Is Required
Must have background in High School level Math and Sciences
Bachelor's degree in education is Ideal and preferred
This is a Part Time position and requires Saturday hours

- Full-Time Proctor/Tutor must become ATI Champions within 90 days of hire date
- Prepare course plans and materials for Tutoring Tease/Accuplacer Exams
