What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiographer Part time 40 hrs/pay, 7p-7a position at HCH brand?
Responsibilities: The Radiographer is responsible for operating x-ray generating equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams utilizing the concept of ALARA with proper positioning, selection of technique, collimation, and shielding. The radiographer will prepare and communicates with the radiologist pertinent information to assist the radiologist during the interpretation process. The radiographer will be responsible for maintaining the quality control testing and documentation on each piece of x-ray generating equipment.
Qualifications: It is required that the Radiographer has a BLS certification. A Radiographer is required to have two years post-secondary education and graduate of Joint Commitee Review (JRC) Accredited School of Radiology. It is required that the applicant has an Ohio License and is registered through American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
