We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Care Lead to join our team at HCAOA. As a Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily care of our clients, providing exceptional support, and leading a team of caregivers.
About the Role
As a Care Lead, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating care for clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Providing direct, hands-on care, including assistance with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Overseeing and mentoring a team of caregivers, offering guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards of care.
- Creating, implementing, and reviewing individualized care plans for clients in collaboration with families and healthcare providers.
- Monitoring client progress and well-being, documenting observations and making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving or healthcare-related roles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the Grand Rapids area to deliver care.
- Experience supervising or leading a team of caregivers.
- Background in home healthcare or senior care services.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
