Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cath/EP Registered Nurse, located in Overland Park, KS. The Registered Nurse will deliver quality patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer medication and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers. Core responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and executing care plans, maintaining accurate records, and providing patient education. The role also involves supporting patient recovery and promoting optimal health outcomes in a compassionate and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Clinical care and patient assessment skills, including the ability to monitor patient conditions and provide evidence-based care
- Proficiency in administering medications, implementing care plans, and following established protocols
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); additional certifications such as PALS or certifications specific to specialty are a plus
- Previous nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
