Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
- Accurately enters patient orders(if needed).
- Demonstrates proper use of PATRA transport system
- Answers the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner and relay messages and phone calls appropriately.
- Assists in keeping TAT down.
- Assists patients with completing patient information and history.
- Assists Technologists as needed.
- Properly assist patients in/out of wheelchair
- Handles and stores full/empty onygen tanks in proper place.
- Cleans transport equipment after each patient
- Expectations Ethics and Compliance: All employees will be held accountable for behaviors displayed relative to the values articulated in the Mission and Values Statement. “Will act with absolute honest, integrity and fairness in the way we conduct our business and the way we live our lives.” All employees will be held accountable for attending training regarding the Code of Conduct program at least annually.
- Adheres to code of conduct at all times
- Follows HIPAA guidelines.
- Notifies RN or dept staff when patient has arrived.
- Must practice AIDET daily.
- Practices Hand Hygiene in/out of rooms
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
