Job Summary And Qualifications

- Must be familiar with hospital layout, equipment, and procedures.
- Will perform regular, scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and repairs on hospital refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems.
- Will perform regular, scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and repairs on hospital plumbing and electrical systems.
- Will perform regular, scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and repairs on hospital dietary department and beds.
- Will perform regular, scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and repairs on hospital Safety devices.
- Will perform regular scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspections, servicing, and repairs on hospital pumps motors, and Communication Systems.
- Will take assignment in “On-Call” rotation. 8. Will make emergency repairs as required and other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Will become familiar with various programs such as: preventive maintenance, hazards communication, hospital wide and departmental safety policies and personnel policies.
- Will maintain concern for a patient, visitor, and staff safety and privacy.
- Vocational training and/or military training on equipment report and servicing.
- Generally, background should include air conditioning and/or electrical repair and service. Must be capable of reading and writing English, and be able to read Blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment instructions.
