Job Summary And Qualifications
The Director of Intensive Care/Intermediate Care Departments is responsible for maintaining the efficient functioning of the departments (including the Telemetry Department) while ensuring overall quality of patient care provided by the department.
The Director of Intensive Care/Intermediate Care Departments will direct the activities of the department to include all quality and operational benchmarking, implementation of risk management initiatives, and infection control goals. The Director will make decisions based on Administrative Operational Standards and Unit Standards in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer and divisional leaders.

What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum five years of Intensive Care Unit leadership/management experience required
