Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, you will maintain an efficient, safe pleasant work environment. You will work under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services for operations of assigned departments. What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Imaging supervisor’s responsibilities will include planning, organizing, controlling and directing aspects of clinical services.
  • Delegates appropriate responsibilities to designated staff
  • Effectively implements policies and procedures of imaging department
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned sections are adequately staffed for performance of duties
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of ALL modalities, ability to educate/explain exams being performed, and demonstrates above average skill in their modality specialty, performing all ordered exams, both invasive and non-invasive.
  • Must be able to work in stressful situations and provide 24-hour call availability when requested. Good working knowledge of computers & PACS. Effective interpersonal and communication skills


What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited radiology program.
  • Current registration with ARRT (R)/Radiography is required.
  • Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT)/TMB license is required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
