Job Summary and Qualifications
The RN Quality Analyst acts as a consultant to other departments in order to achieve transformation and sustainable change in patient outcomes based on best practice. This position acts as a liaison for leading the hospitals performance improvement initiatives.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing required; B.S.N. preferred.
- Minimum (3) years acute care experience required
- Current Texas or compact state licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice, Clinical Outcomes reporting, i.e. TJC /CMS standards, and AHRQ patient safety initiatives.
- Ability to collect, interprets, and analyzes data.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Office.
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills for process improvement and decision making.
- Ability to interact as a speaker with good presentation skills.
