Job Summary And Qualifications
We are seeking a Neurodiagnostic Tech for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. - You will perform EEGs in the laboratory and at the bedside of critically ill patients in the intensive care units. You will Performs Ambulatory EEG recordings and electrocerebral silence tracings.
- You will Performs intensive neurodiagnostic monitoring (INDM) of patients in the epilepsy center.
- You will perform evoked potential recordings. Assists physicians in EMG, NCV and TCD studies.
- Electroencephalograph
- Impedance meter
- INDM equipment
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Must be ABRET EEG registered. Knowledge/experience in neurophysiologic testing including evoked potential.
- Graduate of an accredited Electroneurodiagnostic technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent formal training. Some college-level work is preferable.
- 2 years minimum experience in Neurodiagnostic technology (may include time spent in training).
- Able to independently perform routine EEG studies as per job-specific criteria.
