Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general supervision of the Coordinator of the Cardiovascular Laboratory, the Echo/Vascular Tech provides general echocardiographic services and is responsible for the provision of diagnostic vascular flow procedures to patients according to physicians orders and established Departmental and Hospital standards of care.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. High School graduate. Completion of an accredited training program in vascular flow technology or ultrasonography through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Professionals (CAAHEP)preferred.

B. Six months to one-year experience in echo/vascular sonography preferred.

C. Echo Certification (RCS or RDCS) or Certification in Vascular Ultrasound (RVT or RVS) required. (New Hires or New Grads must complete their Certification within six (6) months of hire.

D. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
