Job Summary and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the hospital Performance Improvement program throughout the hospital through interdisciplinary measurement, analysis, and actions to improve services. The Performance Improvement Coordinator is also responsible for the coordination of monitoring and reporting of medical staff quality improvement for recredentialing.

The Coordinator maintains systematic data collection and flow of information between departments and into applicable committees. Additionally, this position provides oversight of appropriate external data reporting and validation. The PI Coordinator also coordinates the Quality/Risk module of the Clinical Patient Care System information system.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current state licensure (RN)

· American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS

· CPHQ preferred

Experience in registries such as GWTG, NCDR, DI, oncology and / or in quality management. Burn experience Preferred 

· 3-5 years clinical experience, word processing and spreadsheet skills, data analysis and strong communication skills in order to interact effectively with hospital personnel and physicians.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center.
