Job Summary and Qualifications
The User Experience (UX) Designer will be responsible for creating the experience for all digital consumer facing products of HCA Healthcare. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing websites, mobile apps, the consumer patient portal, and patient room TV’s. The UI Designer will use human-centered design methods to understand the needs of our patients and consumers and design the best experience possible. Never afraid to ask questions to help define the problem, they’ll also collaborate with other teams and departments to know the full story of our consumers before beginning design work.
75% Designing the User Experience
- Take workflow and direction from manager
- Guide associate designers
- Mobile first methodology for all projects
- Provide ideation and concept skills to team members
- Deliver projects on time and within the given budget
- Effectively manage workflow given
- Able work with a team and by themselves
- Great organization and communication skills
- Participate in troubleshooting activities
- Problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing (or potential) problems and recommend user-friendly solutions
- Understand assigned applications
- Participate in end user sessions with Product Design team
- Research first, data informed, and user testing mindsight for all projects
- Collaborate with other teams and departments in the enterprise to design the best solution

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
