Job Summary And Qualifications
As a PPS Coordinator, your role will be centered around ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time. You’ll oversee the accurate and timely completion of the IRF Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI), capturing each patient’s story — their progress, potential, and individual care needs — with precision and empathy. Your expertise supports compliance, documentation accuracy, and the integrity of every clinical record. By partnering closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members, you’ll help create a seamless process that strengthens communication, improves patient outcomes, and supports safe, coordinated transitions of care.

- Maintaining current knowledge of IRF-PAI software, guidelines, and regulations, serving as a trusted resource for the team
- Reviewing and validating clinical documentation to confirm compliance with care standards and to support accurate coding and scoring
- Auditing IRF-PAI data, medical records, and billing information to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to capture accurate assessments and align treatment plans with patient goals and outcomes
- Bachelors Degree
