You will coordinate communication between department directors and staff and perform reception duties while overseeing various clerical responsibilities. The Administrative Assistant has knowledge of general office procedures and departmental/hospital policies and procedures. Job Summary And Qualifications
The Executive Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to Senior Leadership. You will coordinate communication between department directors and staff and perform reception duties while overseeing various clerical responsibilities. The Administrative Assistant has knowledge of general office procedures and departmental/hospital policies and procedures. You will need the ability to clearly present data and information verbally and in writing.
What you will do in this role:
- You must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- You will assist in insuring smooth operation of the Administrative Office at all times while exhibiting tact and diplomacy in all interactions with Senior Leadership, Physicians, community members, and employees.
- You will maintain all administrative files and assist in coordination and maintenance of all records to insure compliance with all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements and standards.
- You will attend meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes as required.
- You will assist Hospital Management with projects as needed.
- You will, with great discretion and judgement, answer the telephone, screen visitors, respond to inquiries and relay information appropriately and timely.
- A High School Diploma is required. Associates Degree in Business preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- You must have 1-3 years of clerical experience, preferably with upper management of a company or within a healthcare facility.
