Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital, part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will be responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory testing, assuming responsibility of the department in the absence of the supervisor, and completing all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results.
Candidates must hold a 2 Year/Associate Degree or a 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, and have a State of Florida Technologist License or be able to obtain one during the interview process. Experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred, particularly in clinical specialty areas such as Blood bank, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, or Generalist.
HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services provides full service clinical laboratory and anatomic pathology services to hospitals, physicians, and clients, offering timely diagnostic information for patient care.
