Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, specifically mammographer and bone densitometry. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Provides patient care during procedures. Performs all necessary quality control and assurance functions established with the M.Q.S.A. and maintains all records accordingly. Takes full responsibility for the accreditation of the facility through the FDA and the ACR.

What qualifications you will need:

• Vocational School Graduate in Radiology Technology
• ARRT (M) Registered Radiology Technologist Mammographer
• Florida State License in Radiology Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
