Job Summary:

Ocala Health is a seeking a cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice.

Qualified Candidates:

• Prior cardiac experience ideal
• Proficient in vein harvesting (EVH and open) preferred
• Join two cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
• 80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic
• Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding, consults, discharges, some ICU & surgery
• First assist in procedures
• Share call with Advanced Practice Providers
• Must be NCCPA board certified
• Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair, thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, TAVR) and thoracic procedures
