HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking an experienced OB CRNA to join the established and supportive team at HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. This full-time, W-2 weeknight position offers a Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule with no weekends, an evening-hour premium stipend, and the opportunity to practice at the top of your license. The role is dedicated primarily to OB coverage, with some emergent Main OR cases as needed.
Position Overview
- Care Team model of 3 General Anesthesiologists and 9 CRNAs covering 7 ORs plus 7 NORA sites of service
- Approximately 4,000 surgical cases annually and 400 births
- Case mix includes bread-and-butter General, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, OB, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Reconstructive Surgery
- No neurosurgery, trauma, cardiac, or pediatric cases
- CRNAs practice with autonomy and at the top of their license in a collaborative environment
- Full-time, 40-hour-per-week overnight schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
- No weekends
- Dedicated primarily to OB coverage, with some emergent Main OR cases as needed
Qualified Candidates
- Experienced CRNA with obstetric anesthesia experience
- Comfortable providing overnight OB coverage and supporting emergent Main OR cases as needed
